Game Access Problem
About 1.5 years ago I bought 'Nightfall' and played it for a while then stopped. Time went by and just a couple months ago I reformatted my PC. And just recently I moved locations. Anyway, just tonight I became extremely bored so I re-installed GW and logged in but it told me I would have to go to the GW Store and purchase something to play.
Then I went to manage access keys and re-typed in the one I used when I first bought it, but it told me this AK was already in effect or whatever. So what's the problem? Do these things expire or what? Help would be appreciated. Also I apologize if a similar thread has been created - I searched yet found nothing related. You have to login with the account you used when you first got nightfall

At first I didn't remember my account name / password but I figured it out and reset my password and got in.
However, that was with an Email address I don't think I used for when I bought NF. Because a while before purchasing NF a friend of mine gave me a buddy key and I think I used that email for the temp. account. However, i've all the other emails I would have been able to use for logging into my full account and they won't work. I even tried them in the reset password bar and GW didn't have any of them in their database. |

I re-entered my NF access key into the account that I think I created a long time ago for temp. use (buddy key) - and the message I get is that "The access key you have entered is in use. ..."
So does that mean it's in use already with that account - or it's in use with anybody's account? |

You cannot reenter access keys. They are one time use, linked to the account they were used on. Or maybe you already did your trial play... the buddy key is only good for 8 hours or 14 days.

My problem is that it's not recognizing any of the emails (account names) that I thought I used for when I purchased NF.
I discovered that an account of mine works but it's under a different email (because I created it before purchasing NF because someone gave me a buddy key). After I purchased NF I wanted a new account. ____ And I know that the account that I can get to work isn't the right account because it does not contain a character named "Alyk Frau" and I know for a fact that that was my main character on my NF account. |

Time to contact support and explain the situation to them. Ask them to change the email for you then reset your password.

when contacting support give them as much as you can including charactors names you remember include the nightfall cd code and estimate when you bought it. the more info you can give em the better chance they will believe the account is yours and unlock ir to you.
